Glama Gal Vaughan had an amazing inspection from York Region Health today!! As usual the inspector said we are one the cleanest spa's in Vaughan. Parents it's important to always be mindful of where and how your children are spa'hing and how the items being used on them are being disinfected. 

At Glama Gals that is always our top priority , most of our items are disposable to avoid any contamination. Don't be afraid to ask wherever you go how items are being sanitized and disinfected. It's your right!

Also be mindful of mobile spa's who aren't registered with a local health department. Even though their services may be cheaper, they may also be more dangerous. Here are some ways Glama Gal Tween Spa makes the right health choices for your tweens:

1) All nail files disposable
2) All brushes used disposable or take home for clients
3) All make up applicators disposable thrown out after each use
4) Spa Slippers: Disinfected after each use ( we have over 1,000 pairs and therefore disinfection is a long process)
5) Robes: Washed after each use ( We have over 350 robes)
6) All surfaces cleanedwith hospital grade disinfectant
7) We use stainless steel bowls for pedicures ( not jetted tubs) jetted tubs are a breeding ground for germs.. those jets dont get cleaned the germs just keep going in and out. It may be more luxurious but not SAFE! Stainless steel bowls are cleaned and sprayed with hospital grade disinfectant.
